Framing
Our workshop undertakes all aspects of framing, from making photograph frames to the framing of articles requiring high quality conservation and museum standards.
Nothing is too small (such as framing a 17th Century pin head) or too large, as we have framed a millenium map measuring 10ft x 6ft.
Always in stock are over 300 different mouldings and many more are available from our national suppliers.
We have something to suit all tastes and pockets and we will always source any material for you that is not usually stocked.
In addition, to the hundreds of wood, plastic core and metal mouldings that are available, we can colour and hand finish mouldings offering a tailer-made finish to your artwork.
We have in stock a small supply of ready made traditional frames. i.e. oval, round and swept ornate frames, but can order a large selection of styles and sizes to suit our customer.
For bespoke swept frames, we purchase from one of the country's best swept frame producers. Each frame is hand made and finished, using moulds from past centuries to capture that very unique effect for that very special picture. Frames with roundels and overmantal frames can be ordered. For students and atists we have a very low budget selection of frames. Hopefully, we can offer a service that suits all our customer's needs and pockets!
Framing vouchers are also available if required.
